Emerald James is the result of a lifelong love of gemstones, artistry, and the quiet beauty found in well-made things. I’ve been drawn to jewelry since I was young — collecting stones, making pieces by hand, and exploring how something small can hold so much meaning.
What started as a childhood fascination has grown into my studio, where I design pieces that feel thoughtful, personal, and deeply intentional.

My Journey
I’m currently studying to become a graduate gemologist through the Gemological Institute of America, building on years of hands-on experience and a long-standing passion for fine jewelry.
Before launching Emerald James, I co-owned a fine jewelry store in North Carolina. That chapter taught me the art of sourcing stones, designing meaningful pieces, and understanding what truly makes jewelry timeless. It shaped the way I approach every piece I create today.
My Philosophy
Every design begins with purpose.
I choose materials carefully — semi-fine metals, beautiful natural stones, and elements that feel elevated without losing their everyday wearability. My goal is to create jewelry that feels lived-in, loved, and connected to your story.
